The House
Ocean Breeze is a spacious, modern 3 bedroom townhouse fresh to the Barbados holiday rental market. Located in the peaceful residential neighbourhood of Green Garden/Atlantic Shores, Christ Church, this stunning property is very close to two of the best surf spots on the south coast of the island (South Point and Freights Bay) and is a five minute drive from the picturesque Miami Beach. The property is suited to family rentals and couples or groups of friends.
The property was everything we dreamed of and we wanted for nothing. Its location was ideal for a restful stay and we loved that it was in a safe, quiet residential area. Alexis was fantastic in giving us local help and advice and your recommendation to use “Mr T’s” for a hire car was bang on. Val too was lovely when she popped in to clean and change the bedding. As for the beds, all of us commented on how comfy the mattresses were which is usually a huge disappointment for when we usually stay in holiday lets. Everything was just absolutely perfect.

Downstairs Space

Living Area
The ground floor of the property comprises of a large, airy open-plan living space, featuring a reception area, good-sized kitchen (gas oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, plenty of kitchen utensils), dining table, and lounge area (with a TV), as well as a separate downstairs toilet.

Lounge
The lounge is a bright, open airy space, newly furnished with a comfortable suite.
There is a smart TV, with a DVD player.
Netflix, and other networks can be accessed. Opposite the living area there is a good sized dining table with seating for 6.

The Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for preparing all meals.
Crockery, cutlery, saucepans and cooking utensils are all brand new. The cooker has a range and a large oven, running on gas supplied by two large tanks.
The kitchen is open to the living area, so that the chef is included in the social activity.
“The Ocean Breeze apartment was one the highlights of my trip. The home was welcoming and very clean. Every room had its own touch and we had everything we needed. The pool was perfect and the small neighbourhood was quiet and had the most amazing scenery. I would definitely stay there again”

The Terrace and Plunge Pool

Stepping through the Louvre doors, you’ll find the wide, open and sheltered terrace, overlooking the pool.
With plenty of comfortable seating, table and chairs you can sit and enjoy a drink and a meal in the outside space, protected even if it rains.

Pool & BBQ
Just off the terrace is a south-facing plunge pool that enjoys sunshine for much of the day.
The pool is 8 feet by 8 feet across and five feet deep. Ideal for cooling off, or for young children learning to swim under supervision.
An extended section of the terrace overlooking the garden makes for an ideal barbecue spot.

Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is roomy and bright. There is a large master (UK King size/US Queen size) bed with bedside cabinets either side. The vaulted roof is beautiful to wake up to in the morning.

Balcony
A door opens onto a very- large balcony with a wonderful, panoramic view towards the sea. It is south facing, so the sunrise and sunset can both be seen, and the sun enjoyed all day.

Walk In Dressing Room
The walk in dressing room has plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space for a couple, with space to change in between. There is a programable safe for valuables.

Ensuite Master Bathroom
The ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom sports a toilet, jacuzzi-bath and shower unit.

Both rooms have new fully fitted cupboards and wardrobes.
The pillow topped mattress in all bedrooms make for a very comfortable sleep.

Bedroom Two
Bedrooms two and three each have two single 3ft 3inch pillow topped beds, which can be zipped together to make them into 6ft x 6in double beds (UK Super King).

Bathroom Two
The second bathroom, serving bedrooms two and three; features a toilet, sink and shower.
“The unit was amazing the pictures did not do it justice. You will need a car to see the rest of the island but the home was clean and had everything we needed to make breakfast or dinner. The pool was the perfect size… Alexis was an amazing host who made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay at this location again”

During Your Stay
Weekly housekeeping will be provided during your stay.
An initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid and hand soap will be provided. If more is required, you can buy more at the local supermarket.
Towels are provided in all bathrooms/bedrooms. Beach towels are provided for the pool and beach.
Free wifi internet access is available throughout the house.
There are air conditioning units in the bedrooms only but the living area is shady and comfortable in the heat thanks to the breeze that runs in from the ocean and through the property, and gives it its name.
The slatted windows and windows with security bars can be left open all day long and all night to provide a gentle cooling easterly breeze flowing through the property.
We recommend that guests rent a car when staying at Ocean Breeze, as this is the most convenient way to travel around the island and plan your itinerary. There is space for two cars to park in front of the property.
However, there is a taxi phone app called ‘pickUP’ which works just like Uber. And ‘ZR’ cars (a sort of bus-taxi) can be caught from Oistins.
